Most damage can be avoided if spills or splashes are cleaned up immediately after the incident. Always blot, rinse and dry immediately after a spill.

For daily cleaning, use a damp cloth and, if necessary, a pH-neutral soap (water with a drop of dish soap or organic multi-surface cleaners).

To prevent damage to your wooden furniture, we suggest using placemats and coasters and avoiding:

• Hot surfaces
• Direct sunlight
• Wet drinks without coasters
• Writing without placing a placemat under your paper
• Hard objects sliding on your wooden surface

**Avoid cleaning products containing ammonia, alcohol or bleach as they can damage and dull the finish.

Butcher block, counter and cutting board:

It is essential not to immerse the boards or place them in the dishwasher.

You can clean them with a cloth or sponge and mild dish soap. There are also natural methods such as cleaning with salt and lemon.

You should protect your board with mineral oil or butcher block oil. Both products are easily found in supermarkets. The frequency of this maintenance depends on the use of your board.
